Game Developer Bunny — Chapter 8: Unmasked Intentions
All chapters of Game Developer Bunny
As the classmate lifts the pencil case, Bunny realizes it contains a prototype micro-chip she forgot to remove, leaving her no choice but to act before the classmate opens the zipper. Bunny lunges from her hiding spot, feigning a clumsy trip that knocks the pencil case from the classmate's hands, sending its contents scattering across the floor. In the ensuing chaos, she frantically gathers her belongings while her heart hammers against her ribs, sensing the classmate's lingering suspicion. She manages to scoop up the chip under the guise of recovering a stray eraser, but the classmate notes the unusual heat radiating from her palm. Bunny flees toward the library, successfully avoiding immediate unmasking but now knowing that she is no longer merely a ghost in the machine to her peers.
