Upon arriving in the colorless realm of Oros, Elena is thrust into a throne room decaying under the weight of frozen, wasted time. She finds Cyrene slumped against the base of the hourglass, his violet eyes dimming as he struggles to hold back a surge of entropy. Recognizing her as his only anchor, Cyrene reaches for her hand, inadvertently pulling her into a desperate rewind to escape an encroaching wall of dust. The effort forces Elena to trade the memory of her own name to stabilize the temporal shift, leaving her disoriented but alive. Now bonded by a cost they barely understand, the two must retreat into the labyrinthine palace before the guards of the static court find them.
