Game Developer Bunny — Chapter 6: Hardware Heartbeat
All chapters of Game Developer Bunny
Trapped in the supply closet, Bunny watches through the keyhole as her teacher paces the room, searching for the culprit who disturbed the files. The dev-kit in her lap suddenly vibrates with a high-pitched digital whine, a sound Bunny barely muffles by pressing it against her own school uniform. Just as the teacher reaches for the closet handle, an emergency fire drill alarm blares through the school, forcing an immediate evacuation of the building. In the ensuing chaotic rush to the courtyard, Bunny is shoved by a classmate, causing her to lose her grip on the dev-kit, which slides across the polished hallway floor. She must choose to either risk being seen rushing back for the device or watch her secret drift into the hands of the crowd.
