For thousands of years, humanity has lived without men, and the women of Veyra have built a vast civilization that appears peaceful and prosperous. But deep beneath the city, inside the Genesis Facility, something impossible is about to happen: a boy is born. His name is Nyx Exitium, and his existence becomes even more extraordinary when the Genesis Doctors discover that he possesses the legendary Dark Energy Core, a power unseen since the era of the dead Emperor.
