As the sensor beams bathe the pillar in violet light, Bunny Magic lunges from her hiding spot, narrowly avoiding the hunter’s electrified pincer. She forces herself to channel her waning energy into the surrounding subway signage, causing the holographic advertisements to glitch and strobe in a blinding array of colors. This sensory overload forces the hunter to retract his sensor, but the exertion causes a permanent fracture in Bunny Magic's ability to fully manifest her own image in mirrors. Choosing to trust in her physical speed over her fading magical concealment, she sprints toward an oncoming train just as the doors begin to slide shut. She barely squeezes through the gap, leaving behind a tuft of her own hair that continues to pulse with a faint, dying light on the platform floor. As the train pulls away into the tunnel, she realizes the hunter has tagged her with a tracking nanite that is now slowly burrowing into her shoulder.
